About

I am an executive and leadership coach, consultant and facilitator specialising in increasing self-awareness, improved communication and effective working relationships. I work with leaders and organisations navigating the challenges faced in today’s increasingly complex and uncertain world.

I work relationally and creatively with the aim of enabling compassionate and person centred workplace cultures. This brings together my experience as a Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Advanced Facilitator and Relational Organisational Gestalt Practitioner. I am fascinated by and always learning about how we can best communicate and relate to ourselves and each other.

I work with the NHS and several national care organisations, scoping, designing, delivering and leading large transformational leadership and development programmes. I have a particular interest in staff well-being, reflective practice and clinical supervision. I coach individuals and teams with a focus on communicating with compassion. I also mentor Schwartz Round Facilitators with the Point of Care Foundation.

I had a 24 year career in nursing, education and leadership within the NHS and voluntary sector, working in organisations across acute, community and hospice care and most recently as a senior leader for innovation, improvement and professional development for a large NHS acute trust. I am experienced in co-producing and implementing strategies and development programmes to enable cultural change, improvement and transformation.

My current work with the West Yorkshire Staff Mental Health and Well-being hub facilitating the roll out of the Trauma Informed staff support programme, develops cultures and workplace practices that support staff and enable them to thrive. I am also working with nursing leaders across England to create inclusive and compassionate cultures as part of the ‘Stay and Thrive’ initiative.

With a long term interest in improving communication I trained with the Maguire Unit, Christie Hospital in Manchester in Advanced Facilitation, worked with Leeds Institute of Medical Education, facilitating communication skills with medical students and developed a communication skills training programme at Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds.

I seek to understand client’s unique needs, building trust and rapport which is essential to a successful working relationship . I will work creatively to design bespoke interventions to meet the needs of individuals, teams and organisations.
